Why broken hearts hurt...

A new study suggests the psychological hurt of a break-up is just as real as a physical injury. Two areas of the brain that respond to physical pain also become activated when a person is dealing with social pain, such as being dumped. The study's authors at UCLA used an MRI to monitor brain activity in participants while they played a game simulating social rejection. The researchers believe that the pain of being rejected may have evolved as a motivating force that led humans to seek out social interaction, which is crucial for the survival of most mammals.

Friendship

It feels really amazing to know that a lot of people care about you.
That in everything, you know that someone cares.
Someone will listen.
Someone will cry with/for you.
Someone will stand up for you.
Someone will cheer you up.
Someone is there to give you strength.

These past few days I've felt the power of friendship. The problems may not have occurred to me but I can relate to them. I share in their hurt and sadness, just like how I share in their happiness.

Now the days when we can all be together can be counted by my fingers. My friends and I may not be always complete when we meet up but I can say that whenever I need someone to share my sadness, happiness, worries, fears, achievements, and all those blah-blah, I know that there are 11 people in my life, besides my family, who will always be there for me even when we're far apart.

"Sabi sa census may 11 milyon na tao sa Metro Manila. Paano mo malalaman na nahanap mo na yung taong para sa'yo? Maaring nakita mo na siya, pero yumuko ka para magsintas. Maaring nakatabi mo na siya, pero lumingon ka para tingnan ang traffic lights. Maaring nakasalubong mo na siya pero humarang yung pedicab.

May mga maswerteng tao na nahanap na yung taong para sa kanila. May mga tanong patuloy na naghahanap at may iba na sumuko na. Pero yung pinakamasaklap, eh yung na sayo na pinakawalan mo pa"

Friday (RB)

Today's Monday..

Anyway, look at what I saw from Youtube... The RED line (dislike) is about 5 times longer that the green line (like)... That's what you get when you sing about Thursdays coming before Friday and Saturday coming after it and Sunday after wards...

You see how song lyrics affect people?

Not only that, a singers voice also affect your audience... She sounds like she's gurgling water... Better make that acid..

PS: I have never criticize someone like this before... You know, in a website... But oh, it feels good..
